technology
a crane once was part of a factory. lifting goods of up to 7,5 tons from one place to another. now the factory is gone, yet its building remained, and with it, the crane. it doesn't have to carry goods anymore, though. it just can be there, up in the air.
on the way to the room that once might have been the home of workbenches and that now is home of yoga classes, there is a row of three windows that open to the crane. it makes me smile, just by being there, a memory of the past, built before i even was born. sometimes i imagine it shifts in the night, moving through memories the bricks still hold.
